About Sandoval
Bonita Bay Group opened Sandoval in 2005 on a 524-acre site with 1,579 units permitted. It sold the final phase to a national builder in 2011. Preferred builders in the early phases included Taylor Morrison, Pulte, Ryland and David Weekley, so you will see several builders' floor plans in different sections.

Amenities and layout
According to the developer, the centerpiece is a 5,319-square-foot community center with a lagoon pool, waterslide, children's splash area and play area. There are four lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, sand volleyball, bocce and a play field.
- The Esplanade: a two-mile, 70-foot-wide linear park with paths linking the neighborhoods.
- Calypso Park: 4.5 acres with grills, covered picnic areas and a fishing pier on the 22-acre Calypso Lake.
- Barkley Park: a fenced dog park of nearly an acre.
