What Wellness Way is
Lake County identifies Wellness Way as one of four strategic corridors for growth and medium- to high-wage jobs. The official site plans 8.8 million square feet of non-residential space aimed at life sciences, sports medicine, research, logistics and advanced manufacturing, and says about 70% of the county's workforce currently leaves the county for work. Neighborhoods must mix housing types and be built around walkable centers and parks.
A municipal service taxing unit (MSTU) funds enhanced design standards on the regional road network, including Wellness Way from US 27 to the Orange County line, Hancock Road, Schofield Road and County Road 455. Ask whether a specific parcel pays the MSTU.
Wellness Ridge and Sanctuary at Wellness Ridge
Lennar's Wellness Ridge is a master-planned community of single-family homes and townhomes with a clubhouse, fitness center, pool and lap pool, playground and courts for basketball, tennis and pickleball, plus trails.
