What Boca Pointe is
The Boca Pointe Community Association (BPCA) describes Boca Pointe as a master-planned community of just over 1,000 acres, just outside the Boca Raton city limits. It sits in unincorporated Palm Beach County, around Powerline Road and SW 18th Street, both of which the association maintains inside the community.
The association counts 3,432 homes in 28 residential villages, and 4,039 residential units in total once two retirement communities are included. It was set up in September 1980 and runs on an annual budget of just over $5 million, funded by owners' assessments.
Zillow's typical home value for its Boca Pointe neighborhood was $518,765 in August 2026, down 0.5% on the year. That is below the $576,824 typical value for Boca Raton as a whole, largely because condos and villas make up much of the housing.
Optional club membership
The Club at Boca Pointe is a separate entity from the community association, and the association states that membership is not mandatory. That sets Boca Pointe apart from clubs such as Boca West and Broken Sound, where every buyer must join.
If you do want to join, ask the club for its current categories, fees and any waiting list. If you don't, confirm that nothing in your village's documents requires membership.

The association lists nine manned gated entrances and roving patrols. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Station 56 is located inside the community. There is also a shopping area, the Boardwalk at 18th Street, and two religious institutions on the property.
